Welcome to Dog Zone Training Tips

To get the dog training forum started off right, let me start by saying that Beagle Zone Training and Pit Bull Zone Training are two existing books which will help you ALL the details. Other breeds which are trainable are Shih-Tzu and Rottweiler, although these books will be available online soon! Feel free to talk about commands, potty-training, interacting with other dogs, etc. Let's get started!!!

All about Beagles:
If you are lucky enough to share your home with a Beagle, you know they are extremely active dogs. Smart, bold and determined, they need a lot of attention and exercise. Beagles are also naturally stubborn dogs and need training to ensure that your best friend is a happy, well-adjusted member of your household. It is essential that you must be able to control your Beagle or he will control you.

So, what is the best way to train your Beagle? We are going to tell you, but before we get to that, here is the biggest secret to training your Beagle….are you ready?

ince man first began a relationship with wolves, he has known the value of a good dog. Over the years, as man became more comfortable with wolves, he realized what they could offer the tribe. Wolves acted as ancient garbage disposals of prehistoric trash. They kept undesirable vermin away by cleaning up the scraps of ancient man’s kills. The more comfortable the wolves grew, the closer they came to early man’s settlements.

Yeah, I checked this page (http://beagle.dogzonetraining.com/index.html) out, it has a good explanation of what Zone Training is and how it can be applied to your Beage. I haven't read the book, though.

http://beagle.dogzonetraining.com is just one of the approaches. The writer has applied to this to many other dogs. Each book has a nice history of the breed and specific instructions on how to apply "zone training your beagle".

For Pit Bull training, you can also try this site http://pitbull.dogzonetraining.com/index.html
It explains the history of Pit Bulls, what their quirks are for training, and also dispels many of the myths about Pit Bulls so you can train Pit Bulls effectively.
